So yesterday I was telling my sweet class that I would be gone today and Friday. Naturally, they asked why. So I told them I was having a little surgery. We had a kid in our class go into surgery about a month ago so it was not anything new to them. One of the boys asked if they were going to put me to sleep. I told him yes. As soon as I said that, one of my sweet little girls eyes got huge and she had a look of devistation on her face. Her hand shot up and she blurted out, " are they putting you to sleep forever?! Like you won't wake up?!" The poor thing looked like she was going to bust out into tears. I told her I would wake up and that I would be fine. It was so sweet. She must have had a pet put to sleep recentley.
I tried to reasure her all day that I would be back Monday but that still didn't stop her from giving me a death grip bear hug on her way out of class. I guess it taught me a lesson not to have pets because it is so complicated! Just kidding. I just don't like them!
Got to run! More later! See you when I wake up!

Climb Every Mountain

Yesterday, in celebration of Presidents Day my roommates and sisters decided to go on an adventure. We went snowshoeing and it was so much fun. I had never gone and became a big fan. I loved every moment of it. Here are some of the pictures. This post was given the name it was because we did a very steep hike and I pushed myself pretty hard and accomplished something I would not have been able to do a year ago. In the last year I have lost 25 pounds and become a new stronger person. Honestly, I sometimes can't believe the things that I have been able to do. I wish it was coming of quicker but I am really happy with the changes that I have made and the person I am becoming. So heres to one of my mountains.

Let's just say I cried. They are amazing. It was the perfect little get away. I could not have asked for a more perfect retreat if I couldn't be at the happiest place on earth with them. Here are a few more pictures of what I did while I was there.
Welcome note telling me of the many amenities the place had to offer.
Amazing robe and pj's. The best bed ever. I have not slept that well for a LONG time.
High Def tv complete with snacks. Yes I ate them all. Guilty as charged.
Well at least I ate almost all of them. Jay is so dang funny. You can't really tell but the bag was stapled shut. It made me laugh so hard.

This needs no explanation. Ahhh........ Thanks guys. You helped make a very stressful week amazing and relaxing.
